Make Time For You

A self-care plan that fits your life right now.

Your life is seriously not working right now.

Your overwhelm is spilling over and you are snapping at your kids and your partner a lot more than you’d like to admit. And self-care? What even is that? You know you need it, but you have no time for it, and you feel like a failure that you can’t seem to figure this out.

You’re constantly scrambling. Your house is a wreck, you have piles of unfolded laundry stacked on top of unopened mail. Your inbox is jammed and there is never any time to take care of YOU. And don’t let’s even start about the non-existant sex life - who has energy for that at the end of the day? You’re falling asleep on the couch every night and can’t remember when you last felt sexy.

You want to spend quality time with your family, but you are so spent. You are starting to feel like they are that flock of seagulls from Finding Nemo, and they are fighting over your exhausted bones. “Mine! Mine! Mine!”

You know this is not sustainable, but you’ve looked everywhere and just can’t seem to find practical tips for how to make this season of your life any easier.

What you really wish is that:

  • You had blocks of time just for you and they didn’t feel so slippery.

  • You knew what to do to make yourself feel good again, and that self-care didn’t feel like just one more “should” on your list.

  • You felt rested and in control, and could escape from the chaos your life has become.

  • You could look forward to spending time with your family, instead of resenting the energy they need from you.

You want to look forward to your life again.

Do any of these feel familiar?

  • You can’t remember the last time your shoulders felt relaxed and at your last appointment your dentist suggested a contraption that will save your molars from their nightly grind session.

  • Exhausted is your permanent state of being. Even taking a vacation feels like too much work.

  • You are afraid that your children will mostly remember you yelling or not wanting to play with them, and always with either a phone or a glass of wine in your hand.

I work with women like you who want to feel in control of their lives.

What I know is that when your life feels out of control it is almost never a problem with your to-do list and I know that there is nothing wrong with you.

I also know that self care is sometimes a nap, and sometimes it is quitting that annoying committee and hiring a sitter and a house cleaner so you can finally go work on that book that’s been chasing you for the last five years.

I know you want to get out from under all that guilt and overwhelm and find a little space for yourself.

You want to have energy to do all.the.things and still feel like you have brain cells to spare.

You want to feel like an awesome mom AND woman who is rocking her life.

I have a decade of experience as a project manager, so I know how to find you more time and help you get your shit done. I’m also a mama who juggles a busy life, so I know how important self-care is, and how to help you get some.

This is going to go way deeper than me telling you to eat more kale smoothies and schedule a massage because I know that self-care can mean a lot of different things and someone else’s self-care isn’t going to help you at all.

After this program, you will…

  • Be crystal clear on what fills you up most, so you don’t waste time doing someone else’s self-care. Your customized self-care plan will fit your life right now - whether you have five minutes at a time or all weekend.

  • Will feel whole again, so you can get excited to do school events, plan a vacation, or show up for your friend who is having a hard time, because you know you have energy for all of them.

  • Will feel released from all those coping behaviors that have become habitual - wine while making dinner, sneaking chocolate in the pantry, disappearing into your phone’s hypnotic screen. I want you playing Bricks and Balls for fun, not because you’re going to scream if you don’t tune out for 5 minutes right now.

  • Be wanting to spend alone time with your man again, because you are no longer touched out and exhausted by 5pm. And because orgasms are self-care, too.

Make Time For You Includes all of this for $159

The worksheet will also help you notice where you have more energy and where things are easier, because I want you to celebrate your hard work and really see those results! That’s what will help you cement these changes in your life so you don’t fall back on old habits.

This is important work you are doing - putting yourself back in the center of your life.

What customers are saying about Take Care Of You:

Doña was exactly what I thought she would be: Caring, intuitive, honest, curious, and kind. She challenged me in just the right way and caught the little hints I didn’t even know I was giving - that were exactly what I needed!
— Caryn Gillen
Doña was able to help me adjust my perspective and realize we all have a certain personality type that defines how we tick and react in different situations. Realizing that I am an Obliger and always work harder at others expectations rather than my own to please everyone, has enabled me to shift my approach to communications and hold new boundaries around my own personal time and self care.
— Missy Woolstenhulme
Doña asked the smartest and most pointed questions that led me to spew a bunch of jumbled thoughts I never really realized I had, and then a few minutes later, after a brief and thoughtful pause, she would say, “So here’s what I hear you saying...” and she would put that jumble into a clear and manageable package that we could work with and learn from, in partnership, together. It was like having a very REAL and thoughtful friend who is the best listener, there to help me be my best self and lead me to my best life.”
— Rachel Nichols
